Congratulatory Address

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Northern Asia-Pacific International Mission Congress. What an exciting time you are going to have, focusing on Total Member Involvement--Everyone doing something for Jesus! The opportunity to learn new skills, new talents, new ways of reaching people in your country, in your neighborhood, in your church. Being able to reach out and to help others to know that Jesus is coming soon. To be able to proclaim the Three Angels’ messages using practical methods according to Christ’s method alone. I ask that you pray earnestly during this Congress, for the power and Latter rain of the Holy Spirit. And that we will renew our individual commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to His church and the mission of proclaiming the Three Angels messages of Revelation 14. Soon Jesus will come.

In the book Evangelism, Ellen G. White says, “If every watchman on the walls of Zion had given the trumpet a certain sound, the world might ere this have heard the message of warning. But the work is years behind. While men have slept, Satan has stolen a march upon us… It is the privilege of every Christian, not only to look for, but to hasten the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Were all who profess His name bearing fruit to His glory, how quickly the whole world would be sown with the seed of the gospel. Quickly the last harvest would be ripened, and Christ would come to gather the precious grain.” (Ev. 594, 696)

What a blessing you and I have, for this opportunity to be able to exchange ideas from one country to another and specifically for NSD, to reach the millions of people that the Lord intends to see in His kingdom. With an international mission approach, it is indeed a privilege to be able to serve the Lord and to learn at the NSD International Mission Congress. Maranatha!
